- Food in my life
People cannot live without food. Where does our food come from? Meat comes from animals. People eat domestic birds, too. Eggs come from birds. From milk people make butter and cheese. From plants we get fruit and vegetables.
Different food comes from different countries. Oranges and bananas come from Africa and America. A lot of vegetables and fruit grow in Russia. Some people grow plants in their gardens. For example, my granny grows … (carrots, potatoes, red tomatoes, green cucumbers, red strawberries, green, yellow and red apples …) at our dacha. She likes gardening.
Usually we buy food in the shop. Sometimes I help my mother with shopping. We buy … . Yesterday we bought …. .
I eat four times a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Yesterday I ate …….. for breakfast. For dinner I ate …… . My mother cooks very nice meals. I always remember to eat the right food.
